Who we are

MB Media House Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (No. 16328782), with its registered office at 8 Vera Ave, London, England, N21 1RA. We decide how the data described here is used, which makes us its controller. For any question about it, write to hello@mbmediahouse.co.uk.

What we collect

  • When you send the contact form: your name, the email address or phone number you give us, the services you tick, your message and the language of the page you sent it from.
  • When you write to us directly by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or phone: what you send us and the contact details that service shows us.
  • When you visit the site: the server the site runs on records technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
  • If you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics records how the site is used: the pages you view, which contact options you use (such as sending the form or opening WhatsApp), how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store.

Why we use it

  • To answer your request and to discuss and prepare work you ask us about. The legal basis is taking the steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • To run and protect the website, which is our legitimate interest.
  • To see how the site is used and improve it, with Google Analytics, only if you accept its cookies. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or add you to a mailing list.

Who processes it for us

  • Contabo provides the server the website runs on.
  • Resend delivers the messages sent with the contact form to our inbox.
  • Google provides our email and Google Analytics, which measures visits only if you accept its cookies.

They process the data on our instructions and may do so outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires. WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are separate services: when you write to us there, their own privacy policies apply.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies, and analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie panel. You can change your answer at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

  • mb-consent keeps your answer for six months, then the panel asks again.
  • _ga and _ga_8P6XCK5M6B are the Google Analytics cookies, set only after you accept. They tell one visitor from another and last up to two years. If you decline later, they are removed.
  • NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you choose, until you close your browser.

While the language changes, the page also keeps one short entry in your browser's session storage for the transition and removes it as soon as the new page appears.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry as long as we need it to answer and follow it up. If you become a client, we keep what the work and our legal obligations require. The server keeps its technical records for 15 days at most. Google Analytics keeps the visit records linked to its cookies for 14 months at most.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere. Write to hello@mbmediahouse.co.uk and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and its date.
